Tebnine, today spreading on a several hills ranging from 700 to 800 m of altitude (above the sea), is located at 25 Km (approx.) to the east of the Mediterranean city of Tyr (Lebanon), in the heart of what is known as "Jabal Amel" or the mountain of "Amel". "Jabal Amel" designates the plateau situated between the western mountain range of Lebanon and the Galilee.
